A pioneer of private sector participation in water utility services in Indonesia – jointly owned by an established Indonesian Company and an International Water/Wastewater Utility Company is seeking a professional, qualified individual to fill the positions :
JUNIOR CIVIL ENGINEER (JCE) ( BASE IN BATAM )
This position is responsible and may perform in the following tasks :
1. Undertaking technical site investigations
2. Supervising and visiting contractors on site and advising on civil engineering issues;
3. Communicating and liaising effectively with project team
4. Managing project resources;
5. Managing change, and identifying, formalizing and notifying relevant parties of changes in the project
6. Ensuring that a project runs smoothly and is completed on time and within budget
7. Correcting any project deficiencies that affect production, quality and safety requirements
8. Compiling reports
General Requirements :
* S1 Graduate from Civil Engineering.
* Candidates with lower qualifications will be considered subject to good practical experience and proven track record.
* Minimum 4 years site management experience with a reputable large civil contracting firm
* Good knowledge of construction methods
* Good ability to manage contractors
* Computer literate
* Good communication skills, basic knowledge of the English language will be an added advantage.
* Must have initiative and be able to work without close supervision
