Service Engineer / Finishing Engineer

  • Age max 26 years old
  • Bachelor, fresh graduate, from Mechanical Engineer
  • Deep knowledge in Ms. Office
  • English fluently
  • Single
  • Willing to be placed in Karawang and travel

Primary Functions of Jobs :

  • Supporting and performing fabrics technical services (Forming, Press and Dryer survey / inspection).
  • Ensuring and supervising customer during fabrics and rolls installation and startup. Ensuring guidelines set by the product management are strictly followed.
  • Updating GV fabrics and GV rolls on every machine visit.
  • Reporting to TSM, Service Coordinator and Product Management on any deviations performed by customer. Advising and discussing with customer any issue that may arise cause by the deviation performed
  • Perform extended observation to ensure smooth running on fabrics and rolls installed and early problem detection.
  • In coordination with TSM, responsible as the preliminary contact on customer complaint case by perform immediate onsite information gathering.
  • Performing studies required for technical services, including but not limited to the following:
  1. Performing Forming, Press and Dryer survey / inspection.
  2. Performing fabrics seaming during installation.
  3. Performing fabrics simple repair (edges cut, seam repair, stitching small hole).
  4. Performing shutdown fabrics and rolls inspection.
  5. Technical data collection.
  • Support product promotion for Fabrics and Rolls (Forming - Press - Dryer Fabric’s, Roll cover's, Roll service, Thermal coating, Replacement roll) by the means of collecting relevant data such as, but not limited to:
  1. Machine runability issues,
  2. Collecting of history of fabrics and rolls in position,
  3. Shut down inspection of fabrics and rolls in position,
  4. Reporting of customer defined product requirement to the Technical Sales Manager.
  • Develop relationship with customer and gain the credit of trust by providing quality service and product to the customer, focusing always on increasing the customer profitability and machine run ability
  • Weekly Task and Monthly To Do List update to TSM and Service Coordinator SE Asia.
  • To provide fast response to customer reaching their satisfactory, in a reliable and accurate way.
  • To provide customer and competition activities on site by either emails or telephone calls in a spontaneously, pro-active, clear, to the point, in-time, and solution-oriented manners.
